About Chris Vignieri

Chris Vignieri has called Lee County home since September 2000. He first registered to vote here, and cast his first ballots ever here. When he looks at the Supervisor of Elections office, he does not see a political prize. He sees a public trust.

For over a decade, Chris has served as Chief Legal Counsel for the Department of Children and Families, Suncoast Region, overseeing the legal office that covers Pasco to Collier County and serves nearly 6 million Floridians. That job demands exactly what the Supervisor of Elections demands: fairness, consistency, legal precision, and zero tolerance for partisanship.

Managing a large regional legal office means managing people, logistics, compliance timelines, community partnerships, and public-facing obligations simultaneously. Chris does that every day. He understands what it takes to run an operation that the public has to trust, because the people who depend on his office have no other option.

His specialty is legal compliance and oversight. He monitors adherence to federal, state, and local law. He knows how to conduct audits, update operational security plans, and stay current with regulatory changes. Every one of those skills transfers directly to the Supervisor of Elections role.

After Hurricane Ian devastated Lee County, Chris did not sit on the sideline. Working off generator power, he volunteered to help administer disaster supplemental nutrition assistance to families in his community. Public service, when it counts, is not optional to him.

Chris commits to running the Lee County Elections office with the same standard he has held himself to throughout his career: serve the public fairly, operate transparently, avoid every conflict of interest, and make the process understandable and accessible to every eligible voter.

Lee County deserves an elections office that every resident, regardless of party, can trust to count their ballot right. That is what Chris Vignieri will deliver.
